Style File: Tahylor Made Love Like 80s & 90s R&B

Jasmyne Cannick wearing Tahylor Made Love Like 80s 90s R&B sweatshirt.

Friday vibes with Tahylor Made.

I am quickly becoming a fan of Tahylor Made.  I first showed y’all their Growth sweatshirt–which I wear religiously as both a warning to others and reminder to myself (lol).  Now I am showing off their “If The Love Doesn’t Feel Like 80s/90s R&B, Then I Don’t Want It” sweatshirt. A new closet fav.

Keith Sweat, Anita Baker, Silk, Shai, Mary J. Blige, Faith Evans, 112, Blackstreet, I can go on and on.  R&B with lyrics you could understand, relate too, that said it all without having to say it all, and spoke of the ups and downs of Black love.

The sweatshirts are made of good quality but what I really love is that they match my energy.  That Hip Hop Generation Black woman energy. Expression is real, I dare you.

I’m constantly seeking out pieces that not only reflect my personal style but also resonate with my values.

This was the perfect look to flex in with my new hair do–which I will dish on shortly!  Simply paired it with my Puma Cali Wedge’s in Black, my fav pants from Pretty Little Thing, my Ruby Woo from Mac (for that pop of color), some Gucci frames, and of course my bamboo earrings. Easy peezy.

A couple of notes…

I always cut my sweatshirts for my 80s off-the-shoulder look.

Tahylor Made is Black-woman owned business and plus size friendly.

Various colors are available.
