A wealthy, white Southern California teen, accused of murder and premeditated murder in an Oct. 1 gang-related killing in South L.A. was released from jail after his parents posted the $5 million in bail.

According to the LA County District Attorney’s Office, on the morning of October 1st, 18-year-old Cameron Terrell, was the getaway driver when he and two armed juveniles approached three males walking together in South Los Angeles near Western and 78th Street and shot at them multiple times.

21-year-old African American Justin Holmes, was shot in the back and died at a hospital. His two friends were not hit and escaped.

Terrell is out free on bail and was photographed attending one of the World Series games. He initially returned back to Palos Verdes High School before parents protested and complain to the school which placed him on home study.

Terrell’s two Black juvenile friends also charged with murder and premeditated are still behind bars because as juveniles they are ineligible for bail. I spoke to one of the Black teen’s father about the alleged crime and Cameron Terrell as well as an OG from the neighborhood where Terrell was allegedly a gang member.
